Septembers Aurifil DOM Reboot Block

The September
Aurifil DOM Reboot Block
didn't take me too
long to finish up this
month and
it is perfect timing because
all the leaves are falling
from the trees.

I am absolutely loving
taking time and doing these
while waiting on kids to finish
homework or other activities
that keep me away from my machine.

Don't you just love them?
You can find the patterns
for each of the blocks
over at the Aurifil Blog

Christmas Caroling Show and Tell

Today is the day to reveal what
we decided to do with our
Christmas Caroling Row
that we created for
Row Along put together
by Marian of Seams to Be Sew.

If you recall that my row was
a Nutcracker.

Which you can find the pattern for here.

I could have just finished him up and created a cute little
wall hanging, but that just would not do.
He would have looked lonely on the wall
hanging there.

So how about a second Nutcracker,
with a snowflake on his hat.

And a few more Holly Jolly accents to
add to the whole quilt to get

a happy little Christmas quilt.
It measures 41" x 53".
You can find the pattern to the quilt

I was quite excited to finish my second
Christmas quilt.  I can't wait to
have this cutie hanging on our wall
this holiday season.

Thank you so much for visiting,
please stop in to visit the rest of the hoppers
that have finished a row or two.

August's Aurifil DOM Block

I am not as far behind as it
might look with the
Aurifil DOM
Block of the Month.

I forgot to take a couple pictures
of the blocks that I just
finished in the last few weeks.
Waiting on kids
and not being able to be near a sewing
machine can get you caught up
a lot quicker on these embroidered

Here is August's block.

I really love how dainty
and pretty this one turned out.

Here are the other two that
I had taken previous pictures of.

I can't wait to show you the rest of them.
The fabrics I am using are
from Craftsy own collection.
It is called Flower Shoppe.

If you are looking for August's
block you can find it here.

I sure hope I can catch up
with the couple that I have
missed during the summer months.
Wish me luck!!
